Ashlynn McCarthy, Esq.
Owner & Managing Attorney
After completing her undergraduate studies, Ashlynn and her husband moved to California. While there, Ms. McCarthy attended the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, located in Sacramento, California. During law school, Ashlynn was a member of the distinguished Inn of Court - Anthony M. Kennedy Chapter, an organization designed to promote ethics and civility in the practice of law and among members of the bar. After completing her Juris Doctor, Ms. McCarthy and her husband moved back to Mississippi to assist her family through the loss of her father and younger brother. |
After a year, Ashlynn and her husband moved to Colorado. There, she served as the Head of School for a private international school specializing in the International Baccalaureate Program. She taught ESL to international middle school students, assisted them in integrating into their host families and communities, and oversaw the school wide commitment to the IBO program and curriculum. Ms. McCarthy then went on to open an immigration law firm. After a time there, she went on to open her own solo practice (self named) until she began Riveter Law, LLC. |
Ms. McCarthy's legal experience includes immigration, domestic relations cases, criminal defense, and debt defense and settlement. She focuses on amicable resolution where possible, from mediating family cases, to settling debts to avoid garnishment, to negotiating plea bargains that are in the client's best interest. However, there are times such amicable and cooperative efforts fail, necessitating more adversarial tactics. Ms. McCarthy cultivates a professional network of attorneys with specialties and expertise that provide additional resources to her clients should Riveter Law, LLC not offer services necessary to the best client representation available. |
